The Process

  1. Vitone quality control and washing unit allow one to select only the best quality fruit and clean them before being processed ensuring that you produce high quality oil.
  2. Destoning: this is whereby the pulp is separated from the skin and seed. The skin and seed are disposed of whilst the pulp continues the process.
    Crushing: this is where the skin, seed and pulp are all crushed into a paste
  3. This is the mechanical mixing of the paste to break emulsion and improve the oil extraction process.
  4. The Vitone decanters separate the oil, water and solid. The process is purely mechanical.
  5. Our vertical separator clarifies the oil, removing any water residue, producing high quality Avocado oil.

Avocado oil production is much more flexible and can utilise almost 100% of the fruit harvested as long as it is not rotten or immature. Rotten or immature fruit reduces the oil output & quality
